REET Level 2 2026 Exam Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications to be eligible:

• Graduation + D.El.Ed.: Graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
• Graduation + B.Ed.: Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
• Senior Secondary (10+2) + Integrated B.A./B.Sc. Ed.: Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks along with a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or a 4-year B.A./B.Sc. Ed. / B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed.
• Post-Graduation + B.Ed. (Special Provision): Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. program.

Note: Candidates who are in the final year of their B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / equivalent teacher training program are also provisionally eligible to apply.

2. Age Limit

• The minimum age for applying is 18 years.
• The upper age limit is usually 40 years, with relaxation for reserved categories as per Rajasthan Government rules.

3. Nationality

The candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidates from other states may also apply but will be considered under the general category for reservation purposes.

4. Number of Attempts

There is no limit on the number of attempts. Candidates may appear for the exam as many times as they wish, provided they fulfill the age and educational criteria.
