REET Level 1 2025 Exam Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications

Candidates must satisfy one of the following criteria:

• Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
• Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
• Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) as per NCTE norms.
• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).

Note: Final-year students in the above-mentioned courses are also eligible to apply.

2. Age Limit

• There is no upper age limit for the REET Level 1 Exam.
• Candidates can attempt the exam multiple times if they meet the eligibility criteria.

3. Nationality

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the REET Level 1 Exam.
