FAQs: SSC Selection Post Phase-XIII (Graduation Level)

Q1: What is the main difference between the Graduation level and the other two levels (10th & 12th) of the Selection Post exam?

Ans: The primary difference is the difficulty level and the depth of the syllabus. The questions asked in the Graduation level exam are of a higher cognitive level. Specifically, the Quantitative Aptitude section covers a more comprehensive range of topics from Advanced Mathematics (Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, etc.) compared to the lower levels.

Q2: Is there a second stage or Tier-2 exam in the SSC Selection Post recruitment?

Ans: No, the main selection process consists of only one Computer-Based Examination (CBE). After the CBE, candidates are shortlisted for the next stage, which is Document Verification. A Skill Test (like typing) is also conducted, but only for those specific posts where it is required, and it is qualifying in nature.

Q3: Can I apply for multiple posts in the Graduation level category?

Ans: Yes, you can apply for multiple posts within the Graduation level category, provided you meet the specific educational and other eligibility criteria for each post. You will need to submit a separate application and pay the fee for each post category you apply for.

Q4: Is the exam for all Graduation level posts the same?

Ans: Yes, there is one common Computer-Based Examination for all posts that fall under the "Graduation & Above" educational level. Your score in this single exam will be used to determine your eligibility for all the Graduation level posts for which you have applied.
