Quantitative Aptitude

This section is a mix of basic arithmetic and advanced mathematics.

Q1: Is the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam qualifying in nature?

Ans: Yes, as per the current pattern, the Tier 1 exam is only qualifying. Its marks are not added to the final merit list, but you must clear the minimum cut-off to be eligible for Tier 2.

Ans: Yes, the Skill Test/Typing Test conducted in Tier 2 is mandatory for all posts (LDC/JSA and DEO) and is qualifying in nature. Candidates must pass this test to be considered for final selection.
