Interview Stage

Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the final stage, the Personal Interview. The interview carries **50 marks**.

Final Merit List: The final selection will be based on the total marks obtained in the **Written Examination (450 Marks) + Interview (50 Marks)**, for a total of 500 marks.

  4. FSSAI, Food Laws and Organizations: Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSAI) of India, 2006, regulations on food safety, national and international food organizations (APEDA, BIS, ICMR, WHO, FAO).
  5. Food Processing and Preservation Technology: Principles and methods of food processing (blanching, pasteurization, sterilization), preservation by heat, cold, drying, chemicals.
  6. Food Quality and Analysis: Quality attributes of food (color, texture, flavor), methods of food analysis, adulteration.
  7. Dairy Technology: Composition of milk, processing of milk, production of dairy products (cream, butter, cheese, ice cream).
  8. Meat, Fish, Poultry Technology: Meat composition, post-mortem changes, processing of meat, fish, and poultry products.
  9. Fruits and Vegetable Technology: Post-harvest technology, processing of fruits and vegetables (juices, jams, jellies, pickles).
