Q1: Is the MP Police SI Prelims exam qualifying in nature?

Ans: Yes, the Preliminary exam is only for screening candidates for the Mains exam. The marks obtained in the Prelims are not considered for the final merit list.

Q2: Is there negative marking in the MP Police SI exam?

Ans: There is no negative marking in the Preliminary exam. However, there is a negative marking of 1/3rd of a mark for each incorrect answer in the Mains examination.
