Q1: Is there negative marking in the JPSC Preliminary exam?

Ans: No, as per the established pattern, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers in the JPSC Preliminary examination, which is a significant advantage for aspirants.

Q2: Are the marks of the Preliminary exam counted for the final merit list?

Ans: No, the Preliminary exam is only a screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main examination. The final merit list is based on the combined score of the Mains (950 marks) and the Interview (100 marks).
