  • Child Development (Primary School Child): Concept of development and its relationship with learning, Principles of the development of children, Influence of Heredity & Environment, Socialization processes, Piaget, Kohlberg, and Vygotsky constructs.

Q: What is the primary eligibility for CTET Paper 1?

Ans: The basic eligibility for CTET Paper 1 is passing Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Other equivalent qualifications are also accepted.

Q: Can I get a teaching job just by clearing the CTET exam?

Ans: Clearing the CTET exam is an eligibility criterion. It does not guarantee a job. Candidates who qualify for the CTET can apply for teaching positions in central government schools (like KVS, NVS) and other schools that accept CTET certification, but they will have to go through the respective school's selection process.

Q: What are the qualifying marks for CTET?

Ans: To qualify for the CTET exam, a candidate needs to score a minimum of 60% (90 out of 150 marks). There might be relaxations for reserved categories as per government norms.
