The selection process for BSF ASI (Steno) and Head Constable (Ministerial) is a multi-phase process designed to assess the physical, mental, and skill-based capabilities of the candidates. The process typically includes a Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Computer Based Test (CBT), a Skill Test, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination.

Phase 1: Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

This is the initial qualifying stage. Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards to be eligible for the next phase.
