BPSC Syllabus 2024 Updated One

The BPSC Syllabus has been changed as per the latest BPSC Notification, which is provided here.

• The new modification in the BPSC Notification includes that the BPSC exam will have four answers with a negative marking of one-third.
• The BPSC preliminary exam consists of only one 150-mark General Studies paper.
• The BPSC main exam comprises five papers, General Hindi, General Studies Paper 1, Paper 2, Essay, and Optional Subject. The general Hindi and optional subjects are qualifying types, carrying 100 marks each. In optional subjects, multiple-choice questions are available.

BPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

The BPSC CCE Exam and BPSC CDPO Exam were combined last year according to BPSC’s latest Notification.

• The BPSC CCE Prelims examination will be objective type, in multiple choice.
• There would be 150 questions in this exam for 150 marks.
• One mark for each correct answer.
• For every incorrect answer, there is a 1/3rd mark deduction. The test duration is 2 hours.

BPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2024

• The second stage of the BPSC selection process is the major exam.
• BPSC Mains exam pattern consists of five papers: General Hindi, General Studies Paper 1, Paper 2, Essay, and Optional Subject.
• The BPSC mains exam has 1100 marks, including the qualifying papers.

The BPSC Mains will be open to candidates who qualify for the preliminary exam. The number of candidates chosen for the Mains will be ten times the total number of posts.

BPSC Final Round Interview
