IBPS Clerk Exam Date 2024 for Mains
There is no change in the Pattern of Exam for the IBPS Clerk 2024 Mains Exam. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now have 190 questions, which have to be answered in 160 minutes only. Earlier, this Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately. However, with the new update by IBPS, both these sections are merged together and will consist of 50 questions that have to be solved in a time duration of 45 minutes. Both the Preliminary and Main Exams will be conducted in Hindi, English, and 11 other regional languages.

Marks Deduction on Wrong Answers: There is a negative marking for wrong answers in both the preliminary examination as well as main examination. If a wrong answer is marked to an objective type question, the amount of penalty will be deducted, that is, one-fourth of the total mark to that question. However, if the question is left blank or not answered, so there is no penalty for this.
Final Score Calculation IBPS Clerk Exam:
Marks secured in the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) are not considered for final selection, The candidate has to qualify for Phase 2 to be considered for merit placement. In the final merit list of each category, the aggregate score out of 100 is used. Those candidates who have secured the highest merit rank in each category are finally selected for admission.
