RRB ALP Exam Date 2024 Out

RRB ALP is a national-level exam conducted by RRB to recruit 18799 candidates for the assistant loco pilot posts in different railway zones across India. The RRB ALP Selection process 2024 for the RRB ALP is as follows: first, candidates must go through CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, and Document Verification. 

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the official advertisement for conducting the RRB ALP 2024 CBT 1 Examination dates for 18799 Assistant Loco Pilot vacant posts. The RRB ALP Exam Date 2024 for applicants who applied for the RRB ALP Exam will be conducted between 25th and 29th November 2024.

RRB ALP Exam Date 2024

RRB ALP Exam 2024 will be conducted on multiple shifts across India. RRB ALP CBT 1 will be conducted between 25 November 2024 and 29 November 2024. After this, there will be CBT 2, CBAT, and document verification. The table has been updated to schedule the official RRB ALP Exam Date 2024 from the official website.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024

The RRB ALP 2024 examination will consist of a sequence of tests, including CBT Stage 1, CBT Stage 2 Part A and Part B, CBAT, and Document Verification.

CBT 1: The RRB ALP Exam CBT 1 consists of 75 questions, and the marks and time durations are 60 minutes for Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, and Mental Ability.

CBT 2: In RRB ALP CBT, the 2nd Stage will consist of two sections: Part A and Part B. The General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, Mathematic General, and Basic Science questions will be in the Part A Exam. 

This RRB exam will consist of 100 questions. Part A is 90 minutes, whereas Part B contains questions on relevant disciplines, with 75 questions within 60 minutes.

Part A marks will be a criterion for qualification for the following stages of the selection process and will also be added for final selection.

CBAT: The Final marks will be considered on the marks in Part A of the CBT 2 round. The CBAT will only be in English and Hindi, with no negative markings. The marks for the final selection will be calculated in the ratio of 7:3, where 70% of marks will be calculated from Part A of the CBT 2 exam, and 30% will be calculated from the CBAT rounds.

RRB ALP 2024 Minimum Marks 

To qualify, candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks fixed by the RRB exam authority. Candidates’ marks must reach a minimum of 42 to pass the CBAT exam. Below is the percentage required to pass the CBT 1 and CBT 2 exams.

• OBC- 30 %
• SC- 30 % 
• ST- 25 %
